Q2. How many sections are available in the NEET PG Syllabus?
Ans: The NEET PG 2025 syllabus is mainly divided into three sections: Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical. Each section includes a set of subjects that candidates must study thoroughly to succeed in the exam.

The Clinical section includes subjects like Medicine, Dermatology and Venereology, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesia, Radiodiagnosis, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, and ENT.
A clear understanding of each subject is essential to qualify for the NEET PG exam.
Q3. Which subject in the NEET PG syllabus has the highest and lowest weightage?
Ans: The NBE does not officially release subject-wise weightage for NEET PG. However, based on previous trends, clinical subjects like General Medicine, Surgery, and Paediatrics usually have higher weightage, while pre-clinical subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology tend to have fewer questions. Since the weightage may vary each year, candidates should prepare all subjects thoroughly to avoid negative marking and ensure a balanced performance.
Q4. How many attempts does NEET PG allow?
Ans: There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for the NEET PG exam, and no age limit has been set by the NBE. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as required to qualify for postgraduate medical courses.
